Ok on to tattoos…

Today I was supoooosed to have a fun Valentines flash day with my shop mate Jennifer Parks aka @spectralgardens, but the weather had other plans and we got a snow day instead.

So to make the best of things, I’ll be offering appointments for lockets off this page through April in an effort to raise money for a dear friend going through the worst of the worst times, terminal cancer.

$100 from each locket tattoo will go towards a fund for this radical and beloved human’s 3 kiddos.

I also have a handful of new small-medium size pre-drawns up for grabs in the flash shop..

SHOP UPDATE

FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER - PET PORTRAITS!

For the past few weeks, painting valentines for my dog friends while listening to audio books has been my favorite pastime to curb some of the ceaseless dread of… well everything. So to keep the good times rolling (and also maybe because our furnace shit the bed last month and those are expensive) I am taking on a small number of pre-planned portrait commissions in 4 styles. I might take on more in the future, but for now I don’t want to burn myself out or put too much on my plate, on account of all the dread.

Dogs, cats, fish, snakes, hedgehogs.. whatever creatures in your life are supporting you emotionally right now, in person or in spirit, I would love to create a little reliquary in their honor. (Non human creatures only for now)

NEW PRINT PRE-ORDERS

I was going to do what I usually do, and order a stack of these prints to have on hand & ready to go, but since we’re living in uncertain times, and also I’m not sure what sizes folks would be into most, I’m starting with a preorder. Im gonna keep pre-orders open for about a week so they can be expected to ship in about 2, but hopefully less.

BANDANAS

I had these 100% US printed / sourced bandanas made this past December, but didn’t get around to a holiday newsletter, so I’m telling you now. I went through most of them at my holiday market, but there are a handful of each color-way left in my web shop and at Reliquary.

I also added preorders to restock the ‘Hang In There’ prints because a few folks have asked about them, and also it seems relevant for the times.

IN OTHER UPDATES

KINDA SORTA NEW DROP IN AND CHAT HOURS?

In an effort to practice better time management, quit sprinkling work into every day off, get emails and newsletters sent out more regularly, and just maybe, have extra time to spend with other humans/on a personal art practice, I’ll be hanging out at my second home, Reliquary Tattoo, every Thursday from 1-4:30pm for the next few months, and longer if its effective.

So if you are local or visiting, and want to come by Reliquary on a random Thursday afternoon to check out our flash books/wall, look at some art, prints, candles, ceramics, etc. Or just chat about tattoos and the fall of the US empire, (maybe get a hug from Bill) The door sticks but its open, and all kind folk are welcome.

AND LASTLY… FIND ME ON BLUESKY?

While I’m not necessarily looking forward to another app to admin, I’ve so far been liking the zero ads and algorithms over there, and have been posting regularly and randomly. So maybe I’ll see you around over the past year my social media energy has reduced immensely. And I plan on spending more energy on more frequent, short n sweet newsletters.
